SIDEWALKS & WALKWAYS.

Residential and commercial concrete sidewalks, walkways, and accessibility paths — properly sloped, ADA-compliant, built to outlast freeze-thaw cycles.

Why this matters

MORE WEAR THAN
ANY OTHER SLAB.

Sidewalks see foot traffic 365 days a year, get shoveled in winter, get blasted with sprinklers in summer, and connect every part of your property. They take more abuse than a patio. Build them right or replace them in 8 years.

We pour residential walkways from front-walk to back-yard paths, plus commercial sidewalks tied to ADA spec. Every pour is engineered for the foot-traffic, slope, and freeze-thaw expectations of the location.

FAQ

SIDEWALKS & WALKWAYS QUESTIONS.

How wide should a residential walkway be?

Primary walks 4 feet minimum (allows two people side by side). Secondary garden paths 30-36 inches is fine.

ADA-compliant sidewalks?

Yes — for commercial and accessibility-focused residential. Slope max 1:20, no abrupt elevation changes, proper detectable warnings at curbs.

Permits required?

Public-right-of-way sidewalks (between curb and property line) typically require city permits and inspection. Backyard walkways usually don't. We pull permits when needed.

Heated sidewalks?

Yes — we coordinate with electrical/HVAC for snow-melt systems. Common on entry walks in Park City and the Avenues.

Tearing out and replacing existing?

Standard work. Tear-out, dispose, re-pour. Pricing reflects the demo work.

Salt damage on sidewalks?

Sealed concrete handles ice melt better than unsealed. We recommend calcium chloride over rock salt for any concrete surface.
